CROAGH PATRICK HERITAGE TRAIL WALKING FESTIVAL 2020 In Association with Croi Heart Charity

In light of the recent developments with the Coronavirus we have decided to cancel our Walking Festival which was scheduled-to take place on March 13, 14 & 15th 2020.
As festival organizers we have a duty of care to all our visitors, guides and our local communities.
The Croagh Patrick Heritage Trail Walking Festival will now be rescheduled for September 2020.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

 

Description

The Festival Programme includes 3 great days of guided moderate to hard walks, visiting heritage sites, and hearing the local myths and legends from our experienced guides.

Refreshments provided each day! Registration is €20 per day or €50 for three days.

ROUTE & DISTANCE:

  • FRIDAY 13TH MARCH – BALLA TO BALLINTUBBER (18KM)
  • SATURDAY 14TH MARCH – BALLINTUBBER TO AGHAGOWER (27KM)
  • SUNDAY 15TH MARCH – AGHAGOWER -MURRISK (19KM)

Transport will be provided each morning to ferry walkers from the Meeting point to the Starting point. This means that your personal transport will be at the end of your destination on arrival each day.

As this is generally a moderate walk, a reasonable level of fitness is required. Proper walking boots and waterproof rain-gear is essential. Day two would be regarded as being the most difficult.

Refreshments are provided at the start, middle and finish of each day.
Teenagers under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
No Dogs Allowed on the Croagh Patrick Heritage Trail.
