From Dublin take M50 and exit onto M4 Sligo/Galway and then exit on M6 to Galway and exit N60 to Roscommon to bring you to Claremorris and onto Castlebar. Start of the trail in village of Balla on N60 between Claremorris and Castlebar. Or alternativly stay on M6 and exit at Junction 18 Sligo and follow signs for Claremorris and onto Castlebar and start the trail in the village of Balla.
